Play MPE™ Secure Media Delivery System
The Play MPE System is a secure, fast and cost effective method of digitally delivering music and music videos to radio, reviewers, media, industry VIPs or internal staff. The system provides ease of use while maintaining a high level of security. Registered industry professionals are able to receive promotional or pre-released audio singles, music videos or albums directly from the content owner as broadcast-quality digital audio and video files. The Play MPE System currently supports PC and Mac, and is available in both English and Spanish languages. It is the only digital delivery service that provides its’ customers with a choice of audio file export options including WAV, Scott Studios WAV, WMA and the licensed AAC (iPod) file format.
The Encoder:
Using Play MPE’s exclusively created Encoder software, record labels or content owners can upload broadcast quality music or video files directly to Play MPE’s secure Internet servers. This software provides numerous options to the Play MPE user, including the ability to download and stream previews for both audio and video releases, set track permissions, select and administer trusted users, send mass email announcements and enhance artists by inserting stunning graphics and visual materials.
The Player:
The Player software is a software application, which has a web-browser interface that allows industry professionals to gain access to authorized MPE music and video files. Similarly, the Player is a simple and feature enhanced software, which provides the ability to create personal Playlists, quickly stream preview songs or music videos, peruse promotional info, visit various websites, download both audio and video tracks and burn CDs effortlessly. Users can also export uncompressed .WAV files for on-air broadcast, Scott Studios .WAV files, or export songs directly to their iPod using the AAC file format or other portable personal players using the WMA file format, and export video files. This software is a complete media player, allowing playback of all audio formats including MP2 and MP3 files.
