Playlist & Burn / Export area
Located in the upper right window is the Playlist & Burn / Export area. You can use this feature to create and manage custom Playlists, Burn CDs, and Export tracks.

Tracks or Bundles may be added to the Playlist/Burn/Export area by dragging and dropping from the My Library track list.

Burning tracks to a CD
You can drag multiple Tracks or Bundles into the Playlist & Burn/Export window to create a full CD. As tracks are added, you will notice a Total Time indicator on the top right of the window. If you plan to burn tracks to a CD be sure not to exceed the time available on the blank CD. Once you have created your list of tracks to burn, click on the red Burn To CD button. A window will appear prompting you to choose the number of seconds between songs and the burning speed. For most computers, we recommend burning at a maximum of 8x, however faster computers should not experience any problems burning at higher speeds. Once selected, click on the red Burn To CD button to begin the process.
Please note that the Play MPE Player will not allow you to do other tasks during the Burning process. It is also recommended that you do not navigate out of the Player to other programs during the burn process. As with any burning software, this could lead to a digital error on the burned CD.
Exporting tracks to Audio Files
Tracks or bundles that have been added to the Playlist & Burn/Export can also be exported. Click the Export Tracks button to launch the Export dialog box. You will be prompted to choose an Output Folder, which can be on your local computer or on your network. You can also choose the audio file type. Using the Format drop down menu, select either PCM Wave File, Scott Studios Wave File, iPod AAC, or Windows Media Audio. If you choose iPod AAC or WMA, you will need to also specify the output bit-rate. All broadcast systems will play a standard PCM Wave file and we recommend using Wave files over AAC or WMA for broadcast purposes.

In addition, you can select to output a track information file along with the audio. Using the check boxes, choose either CSV text file, ASC file if you use MusicMaster or XML for Satellite Radio of the track. This feature is used to import the track data into your scheduling program or music database.
To save tracks to your iPod, select iPod AAC as the export Format and set the Output Folder to be your iTunes Music Library. For PC Pods, use the WMA export Format and select its respective Music Library as the Output Folder.
Once you click Export, you will notice on the bottom left of the screen the .WAV file saving. Once completed, it will indicate “Done”.
Exporting Music Videos
Videos that have been downloaded to the My Library section of the Player can be saved to a specific folder on your computer. Drag your video to the Playlist & Burn/Export window and click on the Export Track button. You will be prompted to choose an Output Folder, which can be on your local machine or network. Once you click Export, the file will then be saved. Please note that if you are downloading a Windows Media Video file, you must have Windows Media Player installed, and if you are downloading a Quicktime video, you must have the Quicktime player installed.

Videos that have been encoded in the iPod Quicktime video format, after Exporting the video file, double click on the file and it will auto-import into iTunes where you can save it to your iPod playlist.
