Minimum requirements for the Play MPE Player

PC Requirements:
Windows 2000 or higher
Internet Explorer 6 or higher
Windows Media Player 9 or higher, to view Windows Media video
Quicktime 6.5 or higher, to view Quicktime video
1.6 GHz or higher CPU
512 MB or more RAM
DSL/Cable or faster connection
10 MB Free space for program
1+ GB Free space for downloaded songs

Note: Adminstrator privileges are required for installation only.

Downloading and Installing the Play MPE Player

1. Click the "Download Windows Player" button shown below.
   
2. A dialog box will appear asking you to "Open," "Run" or "Save" the installer file. If you select "Run" and the installation process will begin immediately. You can also select "Open" and the installer will open immediately after it downloads. If you choose to "Save" the installer file to your computer, save it to your Desktop. When the file is finished downloading, double click on the installer icon on your Desktop to start the installation process.
   
   
3. Read and click though the dialog boxes that appears. It is best to use all the setup install defaults to ensure the Player will function correctly. Click the Install button when it appears. When the Player is finished installing, a Play MPE Player icon will appear on your Desktop.
   
   
4. To Launch the Player, double click the Play MPE Player icon and enter your username and password.
   

You should have already been provided a username and password in an email sent to you either from Play MPE or one of the various labels. If you do not have a copy of the email, simply click on the “Username / Password Retrieval” box on the right hand side of this page. Enter your email address in the box and click "Submit." Your username and password will be emailed to you immediately. If you have any problems beyond this, please contact the Play MPE Customer Support.

If you do not have a Play MPE account, please submit your information via our "Receive Content" request page here. Upon verification and approval, you will be sent a username and password to access the system.
